An exciting competition for the Sun Rays!

This past June the 11-12 members and 16-17 Soloist, Rochelle Olstad of TSR traveled to Federal Way Washington to compete in the 2011 US eSynchro National Age Group Championship where over 1000 athletes from clubs across the United States met to compete in four age groups.

After their preliminary swim the trio of Maggie Spooner, Bridget Spooner and Bridget Hartig were unofficially ranked 12th.  Official results revealed they had placed 10th earning the opportunity to advance to the figure competition.  Addition of the compulsory figure average of the three swimmers moved them into 8th and an opportunity to compete in the prestigious final event where they rose to a 7th place finish!  Congratulations Sun Rays!!!
